The Synthetic Being: Chapter 1

Kurai....that name is all I know of myself. I don't remember my past life before this, not that it entirely matters to me, atleast not anymore.. all I know, is the name given to me, when I woke up that day.....for the first time in my life....

Weeks ago in an unknown facility

</I> Kurai: uuughh....

A Lone and tired Kurai woke up in an empty room with a bed. As he got he looked around in curiousity.

Kurai: where....where am I? And what even is this place...and...who?

???: ahhh you've finally awakened ZRX-154...

A man entered kurais room to check up on him.

Kurai: huh, who are you. Who am i? Where am I?

???: do not fret..for I, am your creator..I understand why you're confused. But I will tell you everything. You're in the Black Raiders facility, you are a cyborg project created by me and some of our scientists. Your cyborg name Is ZRX-154, but your real name is Kurai.

Kurai: Black Raiders? Cyborg project? Kurai?... what is going on right now?

???: Im sure your wanting to understand your purpose here, correct?

Kurai:.....*nods yes*

???: well..you are designed for the purpose to spread freedom upon the world.. by any means necessary. You're created to be the worlds means of salvation. A near unstoppable weapon..to ensure everyone is able to control their Destiny.

Kurai: control their own destiny?

???: that is all I shall explain for the moment until then. Have this, you'll need it for the training you'll get..

The director handed over a guantlet to Kurai

Kurai: a metal claw glove?

Director: think of It as a little starting gift from me. Put it on and get ready for training..

As the director Left Kurai's room, he stared at It for a few seconds and put it on his left hand (his left, your right) and was ready for training.

while I didn't question what the director told me that day. I pondered on why I was the one to supposedly be the worlds salvation. Would I still be around once I did my purpose? My mind was stumped. I didn't know weather to trust his words. I haven't even gotten sight of the world to know if people needed salvation. I slowly began to think of my own destiny....

A few minutes later in what looks like a battle testing arena

Kurai entered the arena to come across two armoured robots entering the room as well, he noticed as prepared himself for any incoming attack, the robot then started to shoot at him only for him to create a sheild by his guantlet to protect himself from bullets, the robots stopped shooting and one approached to attack, only for him to grab its arm and kick it in the face and throw it at the other one. The other robot dodged and aimed at Kurai, only for Kurai to create 3 shadow like holograms to attack the robot once at a time before they vanished. He grabbed its leg to throw it at the other end of the arena. Both robots tried to get up only to wind up destroyed by Kurai's Lightning shot from each hand pointing towards both robots.

Director: hmm. Quite the merciless fighter you are Kurai. Your training is complete..you may return to your room until a mission is set for you.

Kurai: mission... hmmm 

the training was successful...though didn't matter to me..as I stayed in this facility in the black raiders grasp. I felt forced to do what their told. I had no full understanding of there intentions of spreading salvation..and I began to think I was a simple pawn. As I looked outside my room. Everyone was moving freely...I wanted freedom myself. But I wanted more...I wanted to explore further into all of this..that was the day when everything became....nightmarish. ...
